The current generation Toyota Supra is a grand tourer sports car manufactured by the Toyota Motor Company. The sports car looks almost similar to the Celica model produced by the same company. The next generation Supra model is shown at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show that is powered by a hybrid engine. The power to the sports car comes from the 3.5 liter DOHC V6 engine that produces power up to 400 hp in total, combining both the sources. The V6 engine alone can produce power up to 292 hp at an angular speed of 6400 rpm; where as the electric motor can generate the remaining power.
The new Supra model has the wheel base of 104.3 inches. The length and the width of the grand tourer sports car are 170.3 inches and 50.8 inches respectively. The dimensions of the Supra model are almost similar to the Corvette car. The new Supra model is also featured with all the basic safety and entertainment features like air conditioning, leather upholstery, fog lights, antiskid program, navigation system, DVD player that can read MP3 files, iPod integration, four wheel disc brakes, and more.
